TRIBUTE TO LCDR WILLIAM JOSEPH THOMPSON

William Joseph Thompson

Born: 13 December 1930 Home City: Kansas City,KS

 On 16 January 1968 Mr. Thompson was the Pilot of C1A aircraft on a operational flight. Over water in North Vietnam his Aircraft went down, 7 other brave men where rescued. Status of Mr. Thompson, KILLED IN ACTION/BODY NOT RECOVERED LCDR William J. Thompson was on his 12th year serving in the United States Navy. He was currently serving aboard the USS Kitty Hawk.

     Mr. Thompson  is honored on Panel 34E, Row 60 of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial

Who Knew a Jew Could be so Funny

For comedian Brian Myers, no subject is taboo. His gut-busting offensive humor will have you laughing so hard you will forget you’re not “supposed “to be laughing. Nothing is safe with this Comic, Not black or white, Christian or Jew, gay or straight. Everything is something to make fun of.

 

Brian is a member of the group Shots Fired Comedy Crew, from Saint Joseph, Missouri. The trio is made up of a white guy, a black guy, and a Jew. The three put their acts together last spring. Stand up is nothing new to Brian. He has performed solo and with the crew at numerous locations in St. Joseph, Kansas City and Kansas.

 

The Shots Fired Comedy crew has been featured several times in local papers in St. Joseph, including making the front page twice.
